FOOTBALL& BASKETBALL, REGISTRATION FALL 09´Deadline for registration is 30.9.09. Season will start during the week from 5th October.
Fall Basketball League
Both registered and unregistered players can participate in competition. Basketball league is designed for
- company teams
- sports collectives
- individuals
Venue:
Sportshall Sparta
Nad Královskou oborou 51
Praha 7, Bubeneč
Date and Time:
- match days - usually wednesdays
- matches start at early evening times
- each team plays once a week
- next league starts on October
The system of competition:
Competition starts with group stage where all teams play against each other. Top 4 teams reach semifinals. Winners from semifinal matches meet in finals to fight for first and second place, losers play for third and fourth place. Each team has at least eight matches guaranteed.
Winter season is directly followed by winter and spring season, i.e. number of matches varies between 25 and 30, according to number of semifinal and final game participations.
Laws of the game:
FIBA laws of the game are applied in competition. Number of substitutions is unlimited. Duration of the game is 2 x 20 minutes. Each match is controled by two professional referees.
Jersey:
Team jerseys are not required, organizer provides distinctive jerseys.
Ball:
Standard ball, provided by organizer.
Prizes:
Winner gets cup and prizes.
All players can apply discounts by our sponsor.
Registration fee:
Registration fee for entering the competition is 13,000 CZK for one team a and 1,200 CZK for individual.
Individuals will be added to team bulit-up from other individuals.
Teams formed half from students can aplly student discount, as well as companies which engage in competition more than one team get discount!
Further information:
Number of players on squad list is unlimited, we recommend at least seven players per team.
